Unfortunately, tonight sees the end of a great racing team which has been around for many years! Starting out with only a select few, the team gained momentum as team numbers grew with excellent recruits. This earned the team great respect on and off the track. The team's dominance was felt in the AAL Flying Fox series with 5 or 6 quality racers in Div A. But from then on, it began to go downhill. As some members lacked interest while others just had too much going on in real life, the active numbers who raced online dropped. All was not lost though, with a few more good recruits coming in, which livened the team up. More recently, the team once again dropped into a low with two key racers leaving and joining another fabulous, albeit filthy, racing team.

Although this is somewhat like a test of whether you know your Australian LFS teams well, and hopefully you’ve guessed that this team I speak of is not Pacifica Racing. Instead, it is Premium Racing Team that faces a dark future. But all is not lost…

With the departure of SamC and JTM69 to FMR, PRT was severely lacking active numbers online. With only a handful of racers actively racing online, ReppohC and eMPee in the AAL, and Pete20 racing very late at night, PRT was lacking the presence that some of the other teams had on the servers.

After almost a month of discussion between Pacifica Racing and Premium Racing Team, it has been decided that these two teams will join together as one and race under the Pacifica Racing banner from tonight onwards. As a mark of respect for the fallen Premium Racing Team, all PRT members will sport a red PR as their tags for the first few weeks, as per a request within the PRT ranks =]

And so, Pacifica Racing is very proud and honoured to currently welcome eMPee, ReppohC, Astro, Pete20, and Standaam to our team. With the rest of PRT being inactive, Pacifica Racing is unable to notify them of this merger and hence will not add them to the members list yet. But for the 5 active PRT racers, the future looks very bright and blue =]

Pacifica Racing have been quite busy recuiting new members in the past 3 months and this month is no different. Pacifica Racing is proud to annouce its latest member - CLP

CLP has been racing LFS since the early S1 test days and has always been a good consistent, fair racer. Unfortunately, he's been offline for a while after moving but now he's back and will debut for PR at the AAL 12 Hour.

Sp33dracer has made quite an impression during the 2006 GTR season finishing 9th, so when we discovered that he was looking for a team , we gladly offered him a spot within our ranks.

Pacifica Racing is proud to annouce that Y-noT, formally racing for SCCC, has decided to join Pacifica Racing. =] =] =] Most of the local racers know him as a fast and fair racer who participates regularly in the AAL, so there is no real need for a long introduction for him.
